1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using AutoFix Pro UK's automotive repair services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and AutoFix Pro UK, concerning your access to and use of our automotive repair services and facilities.

2. Service Description

AutoFix Pro UK provides professional automotive repair and maintenance services including but not limited to engine diagnostics, brake services, transmission repair, MOT testing, air conditioning service, and tire maintenance. All services are performed by qualified technicians using professional-grade equipment and genuine or OEM-equivalent parts.

  • Brake system maintenance and replacement
  • Transmission service and repair
  • Official MOT testing and certification
  • Air conditioning and heating system service
  • Tire installation, balancing, and alignment
  • General automotive maintenance services

3. Service Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, email, or through our online booking system. We require at least 24 hours advance notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, equipment failure, or emergency repairs. In such cases, we will provide reasonable advance notice and offer alternative appointment times.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

All pricing for services and parts is subject to change without notice. Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins. We accept cash, major credit cards, and bank transfers as payment methods. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

For major repairs exceeding £1,000, we may require a deposit before commencing work. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Additional charges may apply for work beyond the original scope or for parts that require special ordering.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide a 12-month warranty on all labor performed and a manufacturer's warranty on all new parts installed. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and part failures under normal operating conditions. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by accidents.

Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period and the vehicle must be returned to our facility for inspection and repair. We reserve the right to determine whether a claim falls under warranty coverage.

6. Limitation of Liability

AutoFix Pro UK's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or commercial loss.

Customers acknowledge that automotive repair involves inherent risks and that older vehicles may have pre-existing conditions that could affect repair outcomes. We will inform customers of any discovered issues before proceeding with additional work.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their vehicle's condition, maintenance history, and any known issues. Customers must authorize all work in writing before services begin and are responsible for removing personal belongings from their vehicle.

  • Pick up vehicles within 5 business days of completion
  • Pay for services according to agreed terms

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws including GDPR. Customer information is used solely for service delivery, communication, and record-keeping purposes.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from our services, we encourage customers to first contact us directly to seek resolution. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to mediation or arbitration under UK law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of England and Wales. We are committed to fair and reasonable resolution of all customer concerns.
